Item:193202012918Short video can be seen on Silver Art on YouTube; https://youtu.be/pMgaM6mSNjI 19th century French Boulle work mantle Clock by L. P. Japy & Cie 1878, Fabrique De Paris Working antique clock having gilt metal dial with sectional white enamelled Roman numerals. CONDITION; Have some wood splits on the back and 3 holes on the base. Spiral Gong rod not attached by the stand to these holes on the base, so I presume that Gong wire rod is attached to the clock frame on the back or on the side wall, so this maybe need some attention, but I'm not sure. Bell hammer Tip obviously worn and strikes sharply, please YouTube link on the top. Clock runs and strikes as usually, but sometimes missing some strike or maybe hammer Tip not reaching Gong wire. The hole in the Key bit to small and its not the very simple to wind the clock, but to wind once a week it's fine, and it runs all week without stopping than started. Obviously after you receive it, clock may be pausing and needs to move Pendulum if it stops or turn the minute arrow couple hours up front allowing the bell to strike during this turns and clock eventually starts running without stopping. It may be hard to install pendulum but I must unhook pendulum for the postage. High 30 cmMore similar Boulle clocks will be listed next week.
