A 19th Century Stick Back Chair Of Primitive Design. This stick-back chair is typical in the design of examples found in the West Country. The wide fan of the crest rail is very sculptural with outward arms of ash over a thick sycamore seat with staved ash legs. A very colorful chair with original crusty red and blue paint. In good solid condition, the facing right-hand bottom corner of the crest is missing. A real sculptural example. 71cm Wide 39cm High to seat 87cm High to back.
