Seller: raggedyman12 (300) 100%, Location: Basingstoke, Ships to: GB, Item: 184177220566 Antique 19th Century French Cast Spelter Mantel Clock with Male Finial The clock is fully working and has a very eye-catching look. I believe the figure is a french sailor with rope, oar, anchor and some kind of whaling spear so may depict this kind of scene. The cast spelter is shaped in a Rococo shaping, with a male figure sat at the top of the clock. The male figure is attached to the clock with a screw which, I believe to be original. The clock face itself is a white enamel with black roman numerals and hands. The face has one winding train, just above the numeral VI. The mechanism can be accessed at the back of the clock face. It has a Paris mark on the back together with a number. Approx. measurements are: H: 25cm, D: 10cm, W: 26cm Please study the pictures as they form as part of the description. Please ask if you require further information. Clock Type: Mantel/ Carriage Clock, Style/ Origin/ Theme: French
