A nice quality antique pocket watch, with chain driven movement fully hallmarked for SILVER LONDON, I think the date letter is 1840.It has a faux tortoise shell case dating from later. In original used condition, it needs some restoration, it has a broken hour hand, the chain is there but seems to have come adrift, but the balance spring appears to be fine. It measures approximately 4.5 cm across not including hanging loop.
