The stunning rosewood veneered case with gorgeous French polished finish and atypical Regency styling. The clock is in good working order and keeping good time. The case has had a little amateurish restoration in the past including the front door hinges having been moved. Also, and quite inexplicably, one of the securing brackets for the mechanism has been lost though, since this is a timepiece only and not that heavy, one bracket seems to be adequate. The travel lock for the pendulum has also been removed from the backplate though all holes line up properly and the mechanism is original to this case. I do not have keys for the front/back door locks. Weighs 4.53kg before wrapping. Stands 13.25" (34cm) high, 6.5" (17cm) deep and 10.25" (26cm) wide at the base. The dial is 5.75" diameter.
