A deep mahogany case with unusual carved ears, lovely colour to the wood and brass The movement is a good quality 8-day chain fusee, thick plates (shouldered) with quality wheels and the original pendulum. The maker has inserted a purpose made brass presentation plaque replacing the pendulum window - Dedicated to the Memory of the late John Watkin Jones Esq, Surgeon, By the Brethren of the Temple of Peace Lodge I00FMU 1855. Overall condition is very good, the makers name has faded but is still readable The clock is in full working order and a good timekeeper.
