Gorgeous Victorian-1930s Victorian revival Italian filigree and cameo necklace. The filigree work is quite basic which is typical of this style of jewellery, but solid enough, and is accented with a cameo and two fabulous blue stones, in an aquamarine colour; I am presuming these stones are glass.  The cameo may be glass or shell and looks to be hand carved.  In very good condition, with the silver tone colour of the filigree and chain mellowed to a pale silver/pewter tone.  This beautiful antique necklace is in a style produced in Italy during the Victorian period and into the first half of the 20thC, so I am not certain of the decade of production. The necklace is a "book piece", being identical in style and colour to an example in "Costume Jewellery" by Fred Rezazadeh (p 209) - see video. 17" long when opened out, central filigree panel approx 1" long
