If the appliance is an inductive load like electric tools (such as electric drills, electric saws, etc.) or compressors (such as air conditioners, fridge, freezer etc.) or some machines with built-in powerful motors (such as water pump, hoover etc.), the rated power of the inverter must be at least 3 times the rated power of the appliance (for example: a rated 1000w water pump requires a rated 3000w pure sine wave inverter at least) otherwise the inverter cannot work properly or may be damaged because the inductive load appliance requires a very large peak power which is much higher than its rated power then it can start properly. Please follow our advice to select a correct inverter for your purpose as the warranty does not cover the damages caused by incorrect use or human error.   Instruction for selecting a battery

For example:

If running a 500w device for 2 hours constantly, the calculation method is device rated power 500W divide by battery voltage 12v to get battery discharge current 41.67A (500W/12V=41.67A) then times the working time 2 hours to get battery capacity 83.33Ah but it actually requires that the battery capacity must be 83.3 x 2 = 166Ah, because if the inverter runs normal loads, the inverter undervoltage protection will work when the battery capacity is less than 50%, and then cause the inverter to shut down.
