The bone I use is from farm or captivity bred Cows & Bulls. The Cows are bred for their milk or meat. I use some extremely rare timbers. As such, the rarest or those of scientific interest are registered by either CITIES or IuCN RED LIST The rarer timbers are registered by both authorities and supply is limited to small amounts. One such RARE TIMBER is known as PINK IVORY. ebay confused this with IVORY but I assure ebay, that PINK IVORY is NOT Ivory, but a beautiful Pink coloured timber of African origin. Post and packaging is charged at cost and without added profit. A small charge is included for the packaging material and the postal cost is charged at the current Royal Mail rate. Combined postal costs are always available to a single PayPal confirmed address. It has been drawn to my attention that a person who is selling lace bobbins on ebay is making bobbins that closely resemble my lace bobbins. This is not limited to lace bobbin designs but also includes descriptive text (trivia) & reference etc. I am closely monitoring the situation & respectively advise that bobbin makers should find their own originality and ideas. My designs are strictly copyright owned & must not be copied by other makers in part or whole. I participate in ebay's VeRO programme and an infringement report is prepared and will be issued if the situation continues by this particular 'UK' bobbin maker or any other manufacturer for that matter. I have sold lace bobbins on ebay for a number of years, selling comfortably alongside other makers whilst maintaining a respect for their own original & respected product style & design as they do for mine.
