This charming and beautiful Tea Bag Caddy (or whatever else one might put in it) can be dated to the 1930s based on the hallmarks on the bottom.  It is in exceptional condition with no defects to its shape and form.  There are only minor spots of wearing off of the plate (see photos).  It stands approx. 6.5 in high, and is 4.5 in wide.  Curiously, it is wholly non-magnetic.

Sol Goldfeder founded the Goldfeder Silverware Company in Brooklyn, New York in 1932. In the mid-1950s, the company moved to Yalesville, Connecticut and changed its name to the Birmingham Silver Company, likely around 1950. The company manufactures silverplated holloware, such as vegetable platters, champagne buckets, water pitchers, trays, and candelabra.
