A delightfully & very happy face sculpture  Art  Deco, Art Nouveau,  and really  outstanding composition  of young girl with a charming flapper boyish hairstyle   with a gilded floral leaf head band ,  she is clad in a short black dress/tunic that   has gold piping  &  dusted gold in different places around the hem line & highlights on the pleats plus a gold motif front & back. Such detail that her finger-nails show up ! WONDERFUL. Her skin tone is of a light silver Champagne colour  Art Deco hair stile  as she smiles down  at the the two white doves one in each hand  all mounted  on a mottled green rectangle base with four padded feet.   Extremely  well sculptured and would look so well in a lounge den study or the hallway  very much a mood sculpture & a interesting talking composition. Designed & sculpted by world renown in Paris "P,SEGA"  in about  1920 to 1930, he was from Paris & among  the top master sculptors in the creative-period. There are some rubbings hear but otherwise in good condition considering about 1925,s.      Signed  at the at the back on her skirt. "P.SEGA."  which is on the back of her skirt,  P.Sega
Again, no information. I believe this artist was French, or certainly worked in France, produced many figural items including lamps and clocks. Worked mainly in spelter and made many pieces using celluloid materials as covering for wooden bases and clock surrounds, with faux tortoiseshell and pearlised finishes. Used a lot of classical subjects - Pan, Pannette and Diane the Huntress. Wanted for its very creative themes made with taste and brilliance &  renowned sculptor during the Art Déco era.    . Superb French vintage spelter . This Sculpture is an Original & NOT A COPY !
