Original light turquoise watered silk boards with gilt decoration and lettering to spine & panels. Normal wear to extremities with few tiny closed tears to spine tips and wear to bottom leading corners of boards.
Internally it is complete with all twelve coloured plates - collated. There is an ink name in the "This book belongs to.." to box and four private ink stamps stating "ex libris C. Parfit" to endpapers and very occasionally within text & one at foot of textblock. The endpapers are original and unsplit.
