Beautiful uniform group from a Brigadier General including uniform with pin back false bullion General stars, sewn on ribbons including a DSM and LOM, bullion overseas bars, officer's cap with his name card as a Colonel, two calling cards as a Brigadier General, an 8x10 photo of Walsh in this exact uniform, and some copies of research. Also a digital copy of his official Army biography. The Oak Leaf Cluster on the LOM was missing when I got this, so I replaced it with a period one.  It is a Size 44L as marked on the inner tag. It is dated 1949. It has a large moth tracking area shown on the lapel in the photo.

Brigadier General Orville Walsh was born in Cleveland, OH  and graduated from the United States Military Academy in 1918.  In WWII he was in the Pacific with 6th Army as an Engineer and ended up in Japan on occupation duty. He served as Deputy Director, Joint Construction Agency, European Command from 1951-53.

His awards and decorations include the Distinguished Service Medal, Legion of Merit with oak leaf cluster, and the Bronze Star Medal.
