Choose from available selection of original early 18th century antique engraved prints of various subjects and locations in Scotland, including churches, palaces, and castles, in such places as St. Andrews, Melrose, Rosslyn, Elgin, Linlithgow, Bass Rock, and many other locations. Small exquisite original 18th century copper engraved prints, circa 1707, very fine detail, presumed to come from Pieter van der Aa's "Les Delices de la Grande Bretagne", published in Leiden around this time. Choose from available selections.  The sizes of these small prints range from between roughly 7 x 6 inches up to about 8 x 6 1/4 inches.  Moderately toned, typically unevenly cut along edges with possibly an old dealer notation in pencil. Intermittent light foxing/spotting mostly to margins.  Light edge-wear including tiny chips and/or light creasing including along edges and at corners.  Visible vertical folds present to most.  Generally in very good to nearly fine condition.  Titles in French.  Plates are slightly more toned/bronzed than they appear in the photos (caused by lighting when photographed, but variation is small).  These are not reproductions but original antique engraved prints taken from a bound text volume circa 1707. ************************************
