I have Liberty TZARA 1987 V aruna wool fabric This piece of fabric measures 137cmx23cm (I have some more of the same fabric, and I will cut 23cm of the bigger piece which measures 70cmx137cm.If you are interested in bigger piece please let me know. Or you want 46 cm.. I will change the listing according to the amount of fabric required) I also have another big piece of the same fabric.. so if you are interested in another piece, I will measure it and list it. It is possible to make a scarf from this fabric.. or anything else. It is unused fabric . I made my research and contacted Liberty and received a reply about this very fabric. "It is actually called Tzara and was created in 1987. It was printed in England and included in the AW 1989 & SS 1991 Varuna (wool) range. It was later reprinted for the SS 1997 country cotton range." I was interested in the name TZARA, I think this fabric is named after Tristan Tzara, who was the founder of Dadaism., a poet, a designer. http://blogs.bl.uk/european/2015/04/sonia-delaunay-and-tristan-tzara.html The collaboration between Sonia Delaunay and Tzara took various forms. It included robes poèmes, dresses with texts from Tzara’s poems woven into their fabric, all made in 1922, and Sonia’s bookbinding for Tzara’s De nos oiseaux
in 1923. Sonia had by then become well known for her textile designs,
the main focus of her work over the next 15 years, and it was in that
year that Tzara asked her to design the costumes for his play Le Cœur à gaz,
a three-act absurdist provocation described by its author as “la plus
grande escroquerie en trois actes” (“the biggest swindle in three
acts”). I will combine postage for the items which I have for sale. I have some more fabrics listed here.
