      Why is there a need for a Pricing Ruler?    To class whether your Letter is a Letter or Large Letter is by following these Guidelines which are:    If your Letter fits through the Small Slot First, 165mm x 5mm; and Freely Slots through and is No more than 240mm in length,  it will be classed as a Letter size.   However if it doesn't, and it Does Fit through the Larger 250mm x 25mm slot and the Length is No more than 353mm it will then be classed as a Large Letter.   If it doesn't fit either Slot, Length, Width or Height, your Letter will be classed as a Packet. ----------     Whats the big difference if its called a large letter, or a packet?   Since April 2012, to post a packet cost minimum £2.20 for 2nd class [for any wight upto 750grams].   A large letter costs, 69p [2nd class] upto 100gram, and £1.10 upto 250gram.   So there is a big difference, between posting a large letter and posting a packet.       ---------------------------------- Please note:   This item is sent without any Boxed packaging, but its Brand New. ----------------------------------   Please see my other items for sale! mailroom equipment buy franking machine royal mail
