Locks are sourced from pedigree flocks of sheep reared in the North  of England. These wavy locks have been washed, separated and each lock hand dyed/ painted  with professional dyes in the Fabulous Fibres Studio.   Each lock may be a mix of dark and lighter black.   Black at tips blending into lighter and grey. Suitable for many crafts, dolls hair, spinning, needle felting, crafts, art project.       Mixed  lengths vary between 12-13 inches approximately according to the tightness of the curls. Please see ruler scan. Most are about 12 inches in length with a very few longer and a few shorter. Shade: BLACK GOING GREY.  True black with blended colours of lighter black and greys. Colours may appear different on other monitors and in different lights.      This is a natural sheep fleece which may have a few small pieces of vm ( vegetable matter) remaining. Sheep, especially long wool sheep love to graze around hedgerows so few pieces may remain. Please study scans for condition. All fleeces are washed and processed in The Fabulous Fibres Studio which is a pet and smoke free zone.
