This sale is for Bank of Ireland £20 replacement notes, two dates are available 2008 & 2013, both in different grades, so there should be a note suitable for your collection & a price to match your budget. \-+++++=====+++++=====+++++=====+++++=====-/ Dated 20th April 2008 . signature S Kirkpatrick. 2008 UNC (Sold ZZ017845). Perfect unused and never mishandled notes. Only these two available which proves how scarce these are. Once these are sold I do not reckon we will be able to get more in UNC, except through collectors which will make them expensive. 2008 About UNC

None of these notes have been in circulation. They all have a half circle mark to the bottom centre. They were UNC in the bank & carefully packed for posting but on arrival there was a heavy stamp mark which penetrated through the packaging causing the top notes to be marked in this manner.

(All 2008 VERY FINE Notes Sold) (Sold ZZ021513). This note has been in circulation for a short time which has left fine wrinkles and some fine folds on the paper surface but it is free from any heavy creasing. The paper is still clean & firm, free from graffiti, pin holes nicks or tears. All the edges and corners are sharp.  

(Sold ZZ026975) . This banknote has been brought out of circulation so the surface of the paper contains some fine wrinkles. There is a vertical fold in the centre and an extremely light one to the right. it is free from creases, pinholes, graffiti, tears or nicks. all the corners and edges are sharp & the paper is still firm.

(Sold ZZ007349, ZZ023409). both notes have been taken from circulation so contain waviness, folds & some creasing over the complete surface. They are still very firm, the corners & edges are sharp & none contain nicks or tares. (All 2008 ABOUT VERY FINE have now been sold). (Sold ZZ021971), this note has been in circulation so contains waviness, folds & creases, there is a large number of vertical creases in the centre area. It is still nice & firm, the corners & edges are sharp & it is without nicks or tares. (Sold ZZ025600). Has been in circulation so it contains surface wrinkles, folds & creasing, which is giving it a slight softness. The edges & corners are good, are without nicks or tares But has a graffiti mark to the right. (Sold ZZ024656). This replacement note has also been rescued from circulation, therefore contains surface wrinkles, folds & creasing, especially on each lower corner. Perfect unused and properly handled notes. I just happened to pick these up from a bank this month. These are proving to be extremely scarce, especally in UNC.

2013 About 'Uncirculated' ZZ001987. Has not been in circulation but contains a very light vertical fold to the left, the rest of the note is unc, has also the usual pucker marks where the silver line is added.

2013 Extremely Fine ZZ072133, ZZ078589, All these have wrinkles from slight miss-handling & counting marks mainly to the right, ZZ000765 as above has also a fold to the bottom left & a couple to the top right, also one running parallel through the centre.

                   ZZ014469 as above but has a fold to the bottom left.

ZZ017008.   The note contains some very fine wrinkles mainly to the left top side & a couple of light folds vertically to the centre.

ZZ027928. This note has a few extremely light wrinkles on the surface also a light vertical fold.

NOTE the print to the centre front has smudged very slightly which may qualify it as being on the border of an 'error note'.

ZZ070942. This note contains a number of light folds/bends vertically in the centre & also a bend horizontally in the centre.The bottom edge to the centre left side has some wrinkles. The remainder is as issued.

ZZ072178, There is some wrinkling in the centre, along the top edge also a handling mark to the bottom left. There is also a light fold to the right of centre running vertically. ZZ078251 as above but has also two folds to the bottom left & a very light fold vertically centre-right.

ZZ023428 . These have some wrinkles over parts of the surface & a very light fold vertically in the centre. All the corners and edges are sharp & without tears or nicks. The paper is clean & firm, without any marks or graffiti.

ZZ121147. This note contains about three parallel counting marks/folds across the bottom left corner & one to tne centre right edge. Except for the usual pucker marks along the silver thread the rest of the paper is in UNC condition.

ZZ113976. The note has one light fold running from the centre of the right edge & ends above the "T" of the Twenty. 2013 Very Fine + (Sold ZZ021303), ZZ015199, ZZ007134, ZZ000766, ZZ106439, ZZ072179, ZZ014689. ZZ029829. ZZ092828 . These all have had slightly more handling which means they have some surface wrinkling & folds. All have sharp corners & edges, they are free from nicks or tares & are all firm. This scan of 014689 is an example of this batch.

2013 Very Fine. (Sold  ZZ008257),  ZZ090002. ZZO14564, These have been in circulation for a period of time so contain wrinkles, folds & some have light creasing. They are still nice & firm without nicks or tares, edges & corners are good to excellent.

ZZ094115. This note was in circulation a short time. It contains surface wrinkles & a few light folds. It is free from creases, graffiti, pin holes, tears & nicks. The paper is very firm with all edges & corners are sharp.

ZZ062372. This note has been in circulation for a short time. It contains surface wrinkles & some folds. There are approximately four vertical light creases. The paper is very firm, clean, free from graffiti & pin holes. All the corners & edges are good & free from nicks or tears.   ZZ092529. This has been in circulation for a short time. The paper contains wrinkles & a number of folds. There is also approx five light creases but none are breaking the print. The paper is very firm, clean & free from holes & graffiti. All edges & corners are very good & completely free from nicks or tears.

ZZ108898.  This note has been taken from circulation. The surface contains some wrinkles but the main marks are four light vertical creases & one horizontal. To the bottom left corner there is a heavy crease. The paper is still very firm & free from graffiti of pin holes. All the edges & corners are sharp & free from tears or nicks.
