25 hand picked eggs, collected 4 weeks ago. Expected hatch date, mid to late February, early March 2017.
The male in the photo is just 45 days old. Growth for this species is extremely fast.
This is a South American Annual (SAA) and these have a dry incubation of between 3 and 5 months depending on the storage temp.
Eggs are large and can be seen with the help of a magnifier while fresh. As these develop, it is vary hard to see.
Hatching info and a micro worms starter culture sent with each order.
PLEASE NOTE that although every effort is made to send viable eggs, there is no guarantee that these eggs will hatch. Annual killi-fish eggs are very unpredictable and not easy fish. If it was so, then the commercial breeders will hatch millions of them and flood the local fish-shops like they do with other species. They require a lot of dedication but this effort is very rewarding when after so much effort, you have breeding pairs of your own.
Eggs heat sealed in double layer of bubble-wrap and posted in padded envelopes
Eggs will be posted the next day that payment is cleared if ordered up to Tuesdays at noon otherwise, the following Monday.
5 bags available and the price is for each bag of 25 eggs.
