This is a signed Gilbert rugby ball by the England 1990 Five Nations Championship squad.


The ball was originally auctioned at a charity auction at Trent College school, Nottingham in 1991, where Simon Hodgkinson (no.15 on the ball) was a P.E. and Rugby teacher as he played locally for Nottingham RFC. He obtained the ball for the charity auction and got the players to sign it.


I went to Trent College school and won the ball with the highest bid in the auction. It has been in a display cabinet since that day.
