Here we have a wonderful Antique French fine quality display cabinet / vitrine in the style of Louis X1111. As you can see the cabinet has great colour and patina. There is a pagoda top with a beautiful peirced brass gallery edge. There is beautiful inlay throughout in Kingwood and Satinwood and is amazing. The main cabinet is Mahogany. There is original hand made glass to the front. The front glass has a stunning figure 8 shape and brass beaded surround. The shelves are lined in crushed velvet .With the glass on the front there is a good degree of light coming in to the cabinet to display area. Having wooden sides helps stop fast fading. Most have glass sides but this rare version has solid wooden inlaid lines.There are fantastic cabriole shaped legs with ormolu mounts to the knees and feet. The original working lock is present and working but the key is not original. A super period cabinet of compact proportions in great retail condition ready for your home. The dimensions are approx 123 cm high 62 cm wide 40 cm deep. A pretty inlaid mahogany vitrine, or display cabinet. Well constructed in mahogany and decorated with profuse floral marquetry inlay. Further embellished with crisply cast gilt metal mounts and a perforated brass gallery. With a single glazed door (lockable, key supplied) which opens to access a lined and shelved interior.3 shelves + the bottom.  Offered for sale in excellent original condition, ready to go straight into the home.
