Here we offer an Hornby Acho (French Hornby Dublo company) Class 131 TB 32 tank locomotive, finished in black with UK/USA wheel formation 2-6-2 (French/Europe 131) - HO scale. This is a vintage loco made in France and very probably a replica of a French locomotive - though it was also sold in the UK by Triang as a 'continental' loco. It is in good overall condition considering it's vintage and has lights fitted inside a couple of lamps sat on top of the buffer beam - both have been tested working - please see image after the video. Judging by its condition when I acquired it, the loco may have been in storage for some time. I have cleaned the wheels and contacts, and the lights contacts together with adding light lubrication and the loco is now working well, as demonstrated in the video. Further TLC on cleaning all electrical contacts will not do any harm but neither is it absolutely necessary. The loco is well weighted with a couple of large lead weights fitted - see final couple of images - (Plomb is French for lead) which further points to this loco having been made in France. I guess that there would have been steps into the cab, sadly these are no longer there. The loco has a couple of labels with FIR written on them,  attached to the cab sides - these can be easily removed - originally the loco number (SNCF131TB32) would have been there. Though this is an HO loco, it will run on HO/OO track and in view of the larger loading gauge in France, and hence somewhat larger locomotives, when scale down it still sits comfortably alongside many UK OO scale locosSorry but I do not have a box for this item.
