The Focusrite Clarett incorporates two innovative microphone preamps which have been custom designed for the Clarett series to offer plenty of gain with low noise and distortion. Additionally the microphone preamps also include an impressive ‘Air’ feature which switches in an analogue modelling of the classic transformer based Focusrite ISA mic preamps.

Low Latency for Real-Time Monitoring

Latency can be a real issue when trying to monitor a signal through your digital audio workstation. However the Clarett features the worlds shortest latency due to the thunderbolt connection and advanced design which allows monitoring through your DAW with active plug-ins for an unnoticeable latency.

Versatile Connectivity

Featuring dual XLR/TRS combination jacks to the front of the unit the Clarett 4Pre can be connected to 4 microphones, 4 instruments or a microphone and instrument simultaneously for versatile recording scenarios. Whether a singer songwriter seeking a high quality audio interface with revolutionary microphone preamps or a guitarist looking for a portable and reliable audio interface the Clarett 4Pre has you covered.

 With four line outputs the Focusrite Clarett can be connected to studio monitors and outboard gear to provide integration into any set-up. Additionally a high power headphone output located at the front of the unit is perfect for tracking and mixing.

Software Mixer for Internal Hardware Control

Focusrite Control is a brand new software mixer designed for easy configuration of monitoring and routing setups. Simple and intuitive to use, Focusrite Control also allows immediate access to internal hardware functions.

Mic Pre Masters

Focusrite are world renowned for the premium design and build quality of their microphone preamps, offering professional results for home and commercial recording. The Mic Pre Masters website provides video demonstrations and interactive audio stems which allow you to hear isolated tracks from recordings done exclusively through Focusrite preamps.
