THIS IS A COLLECTION FROM THE ESTATE OF ARGENTINE-AMERICAN COMPOSER MARIO BROEDERS I hate to see this disappear. In addition to the music and Compact Discs, I have included a couple of samples of his writing paper and business cards for provenance. I have thrown in a few photos also. One is of the composer at the Carlos Thays Botanical Garden in Buenos Aires in front of the statue of Capitoline Wolf, one is a large band dated 1944, a badly creased  press photo stamped "press" and "PODER EJECUTIVE- CATAMARCA" so I am guessing he is shaking hands with someone important at the time. There are a couple of scalloped edged photos where the composer is the young good looking one, and a few others that would seem to reflect his early life in Argentina Some of these items have light corner bumps and light exterior soiling, most of which can likely be wiped off of the glossy covers. Much of the music in the compact discs is also included here in music form. I believe that this includes most, if not all of the compact disc titled "MARIO BROEDERS: WORKS FOR PIANO AND WIND ENSEMBLE" and I am simply not certain that my solo pieces of music are the same as the solo pieces being played as I can't read music. 1- VINTOLERA: QUINTET WIND ENSEMBLE. Music on CD is 11:54. I have the book of 44 pages of sheet music plus small booklets for Flute, Bassoon, Oboe, Clarinet in Bb, and Horn in F. 2- ON THE FARM: SEXTET FOR PIANO & WIND ENSEMBLE. On the CD is it 21:08. The copy I have of the music remains sealed in shrink wrap so I am secure that it is complete 3- FIVE PIECES FOR PIANO AND SOLO WIND INSTRUMENTS: On the CD is it 18:46. I may be incorrect but I am assuming that the five pieces I have ending in "ando" are likely the pieces. I have Oboeando, Fagoteando (bassoon), Clarineteando, Flauteando and I did find a copy of Corneando (for Horn) So, I think this has the music for the entirety of the first compact disc. The second compact Disc is pretty much Clarinet music and again includes the Clarineteando It also includes several that I can match up with sheet music I have and others that may or may not be them 1- CONCERTINA FOR CLARINET IN Bb & CHAMBER ORCHESTRA- I dont' think I have this 2- CLARINETEANDO- yes I have it 3- SONATA FOR CLARINET IN Bb & PIANO- Yes I have this 4- LAMENTO- I don't think I have this 5- TRIO FOR CLARINET IN Bb, VIOLONCELLO & PIANO. Yes I have this SO WHAT ELSE IS THERE?  The rest is sheet music without a recorded accompaniment. A- Memorias de los Cerros y de los Llanos  B- Three Pieces for solo Clarinet in Bb- Tango, Vals Criollo and Milonga C- Three Tangos Reos for solo Clarinet in Bb D- Three Pieces for solo Flute- Tango, Romanza and Milonga E- Fantasia Rea- For Clarinet in Bb and Guitar (yes there are separate parts) F- Romance de Buenos Aires- For Clarinet in Bb and Piano (yes, separate parts) G- Suite De Danzas del Gaucho Bachiano- Traditional Argentinian Dances for Piano H- Tangos a Villa Crespo- 6 tangos for piano I- El Viajero- The Traveler- Song Cycle for Voice and Piano J- Cinco Piezas Argentinas Para Flauta Dulce- Tango- Vals Criollo- Milonga- Vidala- Zamba (short pieces0 K- Tangoes a los Maestros- 24 Tangos for Piano in Homage to the Great Tango Composers L- 20 Poemas de Amore y Una Cancion Desesperada-  Complete Song Cycle Based Upon the Poems of Pablo Neruda. There are two books for this. The first book is the 20 Poems printed in Spanish and also in English. The Black Book shown in the last photo has BOTH the poems in two languages and the actual sheet music. It has the same cover as the booklet shown in (PHOTO 4- upper right) but he put it in this binder to protect it, I suppose (PHOTO 7- black boards). PLEASE NOTE THAT I FOUND THE TWO DISC COMPACT DISC FOR 20 POEMAS DE AMOR *(PHOTO 8 ) AND HAVE INCLUDED IT HERE. It is two discs and over 90 minutes I felt bad knowing that what I did not purchase would go into a dumpster and I am fully aware that I am spending far too much time organizing this for what I will eventually sell it for. the fact is that much of his music has disappeared already and I want at least on person to want to own these.

M- The Ballad of the Cherry Trees appears to be about 40 soldiers who died and forty cherry trees planted. It is dated 1992 and is a pile of music that appears to be in order inside of an envelope. this is the only item of music I have of his that is not in a published book form, so I can't say if it is complete

N- TANGO SIN RETORNO (Tango with no Return) This is a 14 inch tall comb spine book of 337 pages plus a second booklet that is a "Piano Score". The rear cover of the 14 inch tall book is stained with coffee but it was the only copy of that piece in his house.

O- TANGOS RANTES for Piano- a short 10 page piece

P- T HE MYTHS SURROUNDING TANGO- This is a 65 page piece translated into English with a compact disc of the original Spanish version in a word document. This is not music. It is text

Q-- PEQUENA HISTORIA del SOCIALISMO- 44 Pages, written in Spanish by Broeders. this is not music- it is text

R- INFLUENCIA DEL TANGO EN LA CULTURA ARGENTINA- Appears to be a speech given by Broeders in Spanish. This is not music. It is text

IT LOOKS LIKE I HAVE 23 PIECES OF MUSIC AND THREE COMPACT DISCS. Just the music for the sealed "ON THE FARM" is nearly two pounds of paper A couple of the plastic comb spines have minor imperfections. MARIO BROEDERS WAS A MUSICIAN AND COMPOSER. BORN IN 1931 IN TANDIL, BUENOS AIRES. He played piano and clarinet and was a composer. Very few bits of his music that remain online and available

casperbox PLEASE NOTE: For book sales, I virtually always include a vinyl bag tightly wrapped on the exterior. This is an attempt to prevent any USPS employee from opening the package for inspection as it would be time consuming for them to repackage it. This is done simply because my packaging is done more carefully than their repackaging and also to protect the book from the elements. The vinyl bag covers cardboard protection and you can simply cut the  bag open (carefully) and remove the contents. The cardboard protection is also typically held with tape and cutting in the obvious places will allow the cardboard to pop right open, exposing the book (in another protective vinyl bag). Using this method, you should be able to open any book I send in under a minute. No "buzz saw" is required.  Thank you
