A 19th/early 20th century Scottish barrel shaped SAGO storage jar manufactured by Morrison and Crawford Rosslyn Pottery Kirkcaldy.
Beautiful mottled green,light brown and blue glaze on a light brown/biscuit background with applied biscuit coloured lettering.
There is no lid - these barrel shaped Kirkcaldy Pottery storage jars are seldom found with their lids.

SIZE: 6.5" (16.75 cms) high with a base diameter of 3.5" (9 cms) and a circumference of approx.18.25" (46.25 cms) at the widest point.

CONDITION: There is some slight damage to the rim (shown) ,associated with age and use,otherwise good condition.The pictures give a fair representation of condition.
