  • 20 cm, 30 cm or 40 cm   tall bongo/djembe drum. It was carved from one piece of wood, varnished and decorated with carvings depicting elephants. Skilfully carved decorations. Goat skin used on top of the drum.  The diameter might vary (depending on the diameter of the trunk used), but lots of 30 cm height are about 18 cm (7") wide. 20 cm high ones are 12 cm in diameter. As they are all made individually, carvings on the bottom differ, but they are all of elephants. The drum is hand-made in the village of Tegallalang, Bali, Indonesia. Fair trade. Brand new. 40 cm ones weigh about 1500 g.
