Crankshaft overhaul kit Stage6 bearing oil seals C3 polymer for PEUGEOT 103

The Stage6 HQ C3 crankshaft bearing kit incl. Polyamide cage oil seals for PEUGEOT 103 is the ideal solution to save on the quality of the crankshaft bearings. Stage6 only works with major European and Japanese bearing and oil seal manufacturers such as SKF. The bearings are available in 2 versions - with an elastic polymer cage for racing (less friction) and with a robust metal cage for everyday road use.

Both types are suitable for very high speeds and have the correct clearance (C3) required for the crankshaft bearings. A prerequisite for bearing longevity is, of course, ensuring sufficient lubrication and correct installation of the bearings and crankshaft. The advantages of the polymer-plastic version compared to metal cages are greater elasticity and reduced friction.

We prefer this type of bearing, with a polyamide cage and therefore low friction, for racing engines. Attention, during assembly and use, their temperature must not exceed 120°C. For this reason, TN9 bearings are not really suitable for engines with catalytic converters! Please also note the installation direction: the half-open cage must be installed in the direction of the crankshaft cheeks.

Attention Install the version with polymer cage only on engines without catalytic converter! In other words: only on mopeds with open exhaust systems or with original exhaust systems without catalytic converter
