                 This is a MONSTER 2.2kg doorstep of a book with 436 pages in total. It was researched and produced by Dave House and published in 2011. as a new old stock item it is in very very nice condition, this book depicts the history of just one of the many cottage tuning industries that was spawned in motor racing's  ultimate glory days in the 1960’s,Vortz Racing Cars was officially registered in 1965 by a young 17 year old self taught design engineer by the name of Nick Vrotsos (Nick Vortz),Vortz Racing Cars was to be a general race preparation, develop m ent and performance parts in house manufacturing business, but ended up far more than that. Vortz ran from 1965 to 1997 ,  and during that period it turned into a minor car manufacturer, and in doing so left its biggest legacy, the rebirth production of the original Mini Cooper brand. It was the only car company EVER, to use another company’s car silhouette and register it as its own manufactured product.

                This book had to be written to dispel the many myths that surrounded Vortz, John Cooper ,  and Rover Cars at the time. Nick Vrotsos was depicted as the bad boy of the business, and it was no secret in the industry that he lived by his own rules as he did in life. He may have been wild, but he was no thief, everything Vortz produced was uniquely different, and those products literally came from the hands of that open minded free thinking self taught engineer, NICK VROTSOS. (known in the industry as Nick Vortz)
