This is a very attractive Victorian Figured Wellington Chest featuring seven graduated drawers with a hinged locking side bar to retain the seven drawers. It sits on a plinth base with the top section overlapping the drawers to match the proportions of the Plinth. This has been in our ownership since July 1998 when we purchased it at auction from Lots Road Galleries in Fulham for £1,411 - a copy of the receipt is included with the photographs. It has been well cared for over the years and will be a wonderful addition to any home. It measures 100 cm high by 49 cm wide and 34 cm deep. Collection is from Beaulieu in Hampshire.
