Antique Pin-Wheel Calculator / Arithmometer
Grimme, Natalis & Co, Brunswick
Circa 1920s
Fantastic example of an early 20th Century Brunsviga pinwheel calculator.
The calculator is in good condition and is set on its original wooden base. The black-enameled casing is in quite good condition and the metal component parts are well preserved and show off a nostalgic aged patina.
At the top of the machine is the brand name BRUNSVIGA System Trinks and a patent stamp. On the base is a metal plate with the name and address of the shop where the calculator was once sold: "Block & Anderson Ltd. London & Cambridge". There is also a serial number Nº 54649 on the machine.
It is being sold as seen however I have tested it and as far as I'm aware it appears to work as it should.
Approximate Measurements:
Base : 14 1/2" (37cm) x 7" (18cm)
Height : 5" (13cm)
