Antique Minangkabau Sumatrian Malay Brass Water Ewer Kettle. An antique 19th century brass water kettle by the Minangkabau people of Sumatra. Such kettles were used by the Malay's in Sumatra, Malaysia and Singapore. They were used to store cold water for the washing of hands whilst eating. Measures 23.5cm 9" tall. Good condition. Good antique condition with small old soldered repairs as shown. . If you have any questions regarding this or any of our other items please get in touch.
