Tank Fitting Systems

Jay Wolfe Metalwork’s unique, universal inspection and fitting system simplifies the process of installing your tank. The fitting system doubles as both inspection hatch cover and standardised pipe connection centre. All fitting system covers are manufactured from 316 marine grade stainless steel. The cover bolts into place on top of the fully welded inspection hatch, which together with a nitrile gasket makes a pressure tight seal. Standard tanks with either black water or fuel fitting systems include a declaration of conformity for the appropriate ISO directive Fuel = 3 X 3/8" bsp . Water = 1 X 1/2" bsp + 1 3/4"bsp. Waste = 1 X 1"bsp +1 X 11/2" bsp

• All external seams TIG welded by our experienced fabricators using

specialist shielding gases and filler wire. Producing strong welds with good

penetration and corrosion resistance close to the strength of the parent

metal, all but eliminating worries about the welds “cracking”.

Each tank comes with a standard flange which doubles as an inspection

hatch. One of 3 different fitting systems (water, fuel or grey/black water)

is fitted to the flange to simplify the connection process.

• 200mm (8”) inspection hatch is much bigger than those on most standard

plastic tanks, allowing for easier access to your tank.

• All Jay Wolfe fuel and water tanks are supplied with a declaration

of conformity (where required) to certify that they are manufactured in

accordance with the appropriate ISO standard.
