A nice example of this popular Anglo-Saxon penny. Struck from cracked obverse die, this coin is otherwise lightly worn on a slightly uneven flan with several peck marks.  Weight 1.58g.

O: ÆDELRED REX ANGLO. Draped, bare-headed bust facing left.

R: GODPINE M'O LVND. Voided long cross with tri-crescent ends.

I would grade this coin Good Fine (Sheldon EF40) but I have provided high-resolution close up photos so you can decide on a grade for yourself.
