This is a Beautiful 19c Gilt/Bronze Louis XVI Type Clock with Sevres Additions in Great Order.Clock case is in excellent condition with no damage or missing parts. Lots of fine decorative metal parts such as accanthus leaves and foliage all beatifully created. Heads and faces and many other features, Mainsprings are strong and the clock runs well to time. Movement is stamped H and F Paris and S Marti. in a circle The clock is topped of with a Sevres Urn and support to add a dramatic final touch. Strike mechanism works as it should striking once on the half hour and the appropriate number of times on the hour. The clock face and all the other Sevres parts are in fine condition with no cracks or paint loss. The clock stands on its original matching console as can be seen in the pic's. Height including Console is 49cm,width is 23cm and depth 14.5cm. Two keys are present,one for the winding and one for the fine adjustment as pictured with the pendulum. This is a very fine clock and in good condition considering it as about 160 years old. Will be professionally double boxed for transit. Hope you like it.
