This listing is for a 4m (400cm) ADSL lead using top quality white SOLID core PURE COPPER CAT5e cable made by EXCEL. It has 24 AWG (American Wire Gauge) and uses solid core copper NOT stranded. It has RJ11 plugs on both ends and will fit between your microfilter and the router.  It is far superior to the standard lead shipped with your router as it is twisted pair and because it is cat5e it is rated up to 1000 Mbps gigabit speeds. Current broadband is normally under 100 Mbps.

I also sell these cables in other lengths ranging from 30cm up to 30m in my ebay shop.

Please be aware that other cheaper cables listed on Ebay are NOT pure copper, instead they use CCA (copper clad aluminium) or worst still pure aluminium which has much more resistance which leads to more loss on the line leading to lower broadband speeds. Another cable to avoid is CCS (copper clad steel) which has the same poor affects as CCA. A lot of sellers do not realise the difference between the wire cores and some are selling fake cat5e cables.

This listing using branded cable made by Excel and has fully passed the tests to make it cat5e.

This cable is suitable for office use because it is LSOH (low smoke zero halogen) so when it burns there is very little smoke (compared to standard PVC cables) given off and no halogens.
