1951 Great British Coin Display Gift Set

The 1951 British year set contains the complete nine coins all issued and dated from the year, namely: halfcrown, florin, Scottish and English shilling, sixpence, threepence, penny*, halfpenny and farthing.

* The set does not include the very scarce and expensive 1951 penny.  Instead, it contains an alternative penny which, apart from the date, is identical to the 1951 coin.  It is displayed to show the non dated obverse side design.  If you wish to purchase a set that does incorporate the rarity, then: click here

This would make a wonderful and original gift for someone born or married in 1951 as 2024 will see their 73rd Birthday or Anniversary!

The coins are housed within a display that is held in a protection case, sized just over 17cm x 12cm. The display and case are in New/Mint condition and the coins are in Fine (or better) condition .

Note - We don't clean/polish coins as this actually devalues coinage.

Our manufacturing process includes a precision laser cutting method to create the necessary holes in each display for the required coins to be inserted and held, safely recessed, in the correct position .

The product can be removed from the protection case, to allow frame mounted display, if so desired .
